My go-cart was impounded by the authorities shortly after this picture was taken. I knew early on that living within the boundaries of normalcy was not my jam. So I made art, wrote music, sketched and made dioramas, a lot of dioramas. 20 years later my mom made a keen observation "You've made a career out of what you loved doing so much as a kid- making dioramas."

I started working as a production assistant on TV commercials when I was 18, moving up the ranks to set dresser, prop master and then decorator. I made the jump to TV and feature film in 2015 when Spike Lee's "Chiraq" came to Chicago. Things started moving quickly after that and the rest has been a blur of DIck Wolf shows, flying robots and late nights in the office trying to find that perfect side table.
